It's almost here! The uber-colorful, and now affordable, Missoni collection will begin its 40-day stint at Target tomorrow (and this fashionista can hardly wait!).
This is probably one of the largest collaborations Target has done with a designer, period. Missoni's releasing their 400-piece collection with prices ranging from $2.99 to $599.99 starting tomorrow.
Not only will you have a chance to snag their 60s-inspired frocks, but you can also add some flare into your home with their housewares. Personally, I want to grab everything but alas, money is not endless (don't we all wish it was?).
Some pieces will be sold exclusively online, and the line's expected duration is September 13 through October 22.
Here's just the tip of the iceberg of Missoni for Target. Enjoy!
What do you think of Missoni's Target collection? Which pieces do you have your eyes on?
As a slave to fashion, I'm constantly following trends to try and keep my wardrobe as up-to-date as possible. My utter weakness is shoes, which can get pretty expensive very fast. Sometimes it's hard to be a woman on a budget when it comes to fashion, but it doesn't have to be impossible! Follow my easy tips to get the most out of your wallet and wardrobe!

Men's Fall Lookbook: Marc Anthony for Kohl's
Yesterday I got my usual fall Kohl's magazine of their new collections. I expected seeing their regular brands (Chaps, Jennifer Lopez, Vera Wang, etc.), what I didn't expect was Marc Anthony!
Is it some kind of career move that J. Lo and Marc planned the launch of BOTH their lines after they've announced their divorce? Did they make the deal with Kohl's when everything was still good between them?
Who knows!
All I know is that his collection isn't half bad - I'd buy one of his sweaters or jackets for my man. And I can actually picture Marc Anthony wearing/designing most of the clothing in his collection. The full collection will be available sometime later this month. Check it out for yourself!

Fall Fashion Guide: Rainy Days Edition
The past few days of cool, gloomy weather reminds me that fall really is just around the corner. Once it gets here, there will be no shortage of rainy days but that doesn't mean your fashion has to suffer! Accessories are half the fun of fall/winter, if you utilize them to their full potential.
Everyone needs a fashionable, but functional, coat for the chilly months and trenches go hand-in-hand with rainy weather.
Now let's talk rain boots. I love a pair of fun, printed rain boots to brighten up a dark, rainy day. Some people may prefer neutral-toned boots to make them more versatile. And some don't like rain boots at all! (I have a friend whose version of "rain boots" is a pair of cowboy boots. But I'm not exactly a "cowboy boot" kind of girl.) All you have to do is shop around, because there are TONS of options available. If you're feeling a more colorful style, try Target (all their styles are under $50!). If you'd like a more neutral boot, try Zappos.
But you should choose something that fits your style so you'll wear it again and again. Forever 21 has the best selection of fall hats and they start at just $4.80 - you can't beat that!

Hats are one of the more fun fall accessories, if you ask me, and they can be a life saver (especially for curly-haired girls, like moi). It's crazy how many options you have to choose from when it comes to hats! Personally, I prefer slouchy knit berets or a classic fedora.

6 Ways to Wear White After Labor Day
We're living in a new age where your grandma's old adage of, "Never wear white after Labor Day," doesn't apply. Which means we still get to have fun with white long after Labor Day has passed. So I came up with 6 ways to wear white well into winter without ever looking out-of-season (because nobody wants that!).
1. Grab yourself a tailored pant suit
Don't think politician pant suit--think tailored, and almost menswear-like. Ladylike suits and menswear are a recurring trend in the fall/winter months, so this is something to invest in because it'll come back every year.
Take a note from these celebs and buy a shape that best fits you and your body. If you're slender, go for a more fitted shape. If you're curvy, go for a flare or boot-cut leg with a blazer that hits right at the hip. Be sure to take it to a trusted tailor for the finishing touches.
2. Add a bold white coat for frosty winter
If you want a coat that doubles for fashion and functionality opt for a trench, military, pea coat, or wrap style. This is another investment item because you'll wear a classic style like a trench or military coat every year.
3. Wear your skinny white pants or knit leggings with boots
This is a pretty simple formula: take your favorite pair of white skinny jeans or knit leggings, add a dark shirt or tunic, and finish with boots. I know we all have our favorite style of boots, and the great thing about this formula is that is works with every boot style! Go mid-calf, riding boots, high-heel knee boots, or even booties - they're all chic pairings for your white jeans. Keep just one rule of thumb for this look - contrast your white with dark colors (like January Jones).

4. Get some winter white sweaters
All styles are appropriate here! V-necks, cardigans, crew necks, slub knits, cable knit, turtlenecks - you name it, you can wear it.
5. Keep your legs cozy with knee socks or tights
In order to make these not feel like the stark white tights your mom used to dress you in at Christmas, you should lean toward knits. Knitted tights or knee socks with a rich purple dress or rust-colored skirt are primo fall pairings. If you want to try traditional tights, opt for cream instead of stark white.
6. Go vintage (or at least, vintage-inspired)
Vintage-inspired looks are always a recurring fall/winter theme. One fool-proof way to wear this trend is to snag a 50s-inspired dress. Take a leaf out of Dita von Teese's book and choose a loose, knee-length style.
Take it a step further and rock a set of bold, red lips too!
How will you keep your white chic for winter?
